Caregiver/Direct Support Professional - Oakview ApartmentsOur Group Home Clients Need You! We have an immediate opening in our Oakview Apartments (located in Marion, NC) to work with individuals with disabilities and truly make a difference in their lives.
Group Homes can be a major step for empowering independence and building a community for those we serve.
Our homes provide all of the support our residents need - mental, physical and emotional.
Each person has their own bedroom, with meals and activities provided in a common area.
Residents share responsibilities and learn life skills including cooking and cleaning.
Staff are present for residents 24/7 supporting them with their everyday needs.
This position is a part-time position working with our residents on Saturdays and Sundays for 4-6 hours per day.
All of our Group Homes are licensed by the North Carolina Division of Health Service Regulation.
Responsibilities/
Qualifications:
Promote client outcomes in behavioral, social, and vocational realms Assist client participation in leisure/recreational activities Maintain a schedule of services/activities in a treatment plan and report on status of health and safety objectives Provide respite and companionship to offer relief to family or primary caregiver Complete and submit documentation and payroll data according to scheduled deadlines Complete initial and ongoing training and staff development activities Ability to achieve competency in required knowledge, skills, and abilities Ability to work independently in the community and/or the client's home Willingness to address personal care needs when necessary, based on individual client needs Passion and experience working with individuals with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities (I/DD) is preferred Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old High School Diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license, current automotive insurance, and reliable transportation Ability to pass criminal record, driving record, and healthcare registry checks Lifting may be required depending on individual client needs CPR/First Aid Certification Training is provided by company Eligibility of some benefits are based on hours worked include:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
